Artificial grass - common questions
Will cleaning damage my artificial grass?
No. We use a gentle pressure and water alone, so the fibres and backing are cleaned safely. If anything, it lifts the flattened pile back up.
Can you get rid of dog smells on artificial grass?
Yes - pet odour is one of the main reasons people call us for artificial grass. We flush out the mess trapped in the pile and at the base to lift the smell as much as possible. How much clears depends on the condition of the installation, the drainage and whether it has soaked into the base beneath the grass.
How often should artificial grass be cleaned?
Once a year keeps most artificial lawns fresh; homes with dogs or heavy shade often benefit from twice a year. Send a photo and we'll give you a fixed price the same day.
